Arms to Israel

The provision of weapons to Israel has been scrutinized much more closely in recent years, especially after Israel vastly expanded military action in Gaza in response to October 7 attacks by Hamas. According to the latest SIPRI data, the United States accounts for 79% of Israel's major weapons imports and has a has a 10-year memorandum of understanding to provide a total of $38 billion in military through fiscal year 2028. In October, President Biden requested an additional $14 billion to support weapons for Israel.

Here we track whether candidates support ongoing or increased military aid to Israel.
