Linda Åkerström is Policy and Advocacy Manager at Amnesty International, Sweden. Previously, she was the Head of Policy and Advocacy at the Swedish Peace and Arbitration Society (Svenska Freds/SPAS), where she lead work on disarmament and against the arms trade, providing research, analysis and advocacy. Åkerström has published several books on Swedish arms trade and security policy issues and has more than a decade of experience working in Sweden, with efforts directed as well as toward the EU and UN.
Ms. Åkerström has an MA in Political Science from Södertörn University.
