Maggie Tennis is a Research Assistant at the Brookings Institution, where her research on post-Soviet conflict and security, Russian and European foreign policy, and Russian nuclear policy supports Distinguished Scholar Strobe Talbott. Previously, she was a Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellow at the Arms Control Association. Her work also focuses on the conflict in Ukraine, including issues related to arms trade and displacement. Before joining ACA, Maggie worked at T. Rowe Price, an asset management company in Baltimore, Maryland. 

​Tennis graduated from brown University in 2015 magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. Her undergraduate honors thesis examined Russian information warfare through translation and analysis of Kremlin rhetoric surrounding the 2014 Russian annexation of Crimea.
