Catherine Pilishvili (she/her) has more than eight years of experience in research, project management, advocacy and digital strategy in the nonprofit space, including at the Robert & Ethel Kennedy Human Rights Center, ESCR-NET (International Network for Economic, Social and Cultural Rights), and Human Rights Watch. She holds a Master of Arts in conflict resolution from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and international studies from Emory University. In addition to English, she is proficient in Spanish, French, Georgian, and Russian.
She has contributed to several publications, including “She Pays the Highest Price: The Toll of Conflict on Sexual and Reproductive Health in Northwest Syria,” “Justice-Free Zones: U.S. Immigration Detention Under the Trump Administration,” and “‘Years Don’t Wait for Them’: Increased Inequalities in Children’s Right to Education Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic,” among others.
